Crop Protection Packaging BASF

BASF manufactures crop protection products for use in farms for agriculture purposes. The winning product addresses a nagging challenge of identifying an untampered product and reassuring farmers on their choices. A tamper evident Cross Seal mechanism has been designed to solve this problem. Our aim for the packaging has been to empower and help farmers choose a genuine product without any confusion.

Since illiteracy is high, product design communicates directly. We discovered that farmers struggled to know if a new bottle was tampered with. This latent need formed a crucial insight which was converted it into tamper-evident packaging. Our uniquely designed bottle, with its crowned shape and built-in measuring cap, gave the leader a clear edge over competitors.  Read more about the winning project
