CII Design Excellence Award 2013

We are very happy to share that a central airconditioning software user interface, designed for Blue Star Ltd has been recognised with a CII Design Excellence award during the 13th CII Design Summit held at New Delhi on 26th Nov 2013.

Our PC-based software provides centralized control over individual air conditioners across an entire building or facility. It simplifies the management of complex HVAC systems by allowing users to switch units on/off, adjust temperatures, change modes, and optimize energy efficiency with ease.

The newly designed control and interface make air conditioner management simple, efficient, and engaging. Beyond enhancing overall system performance, it offers users an intuitive and seamless control experience. With features like year-round scheduling of AC parameters, the solution enables significant energy and cost savings. Developed by Blue Star Ltd., the product’s user interface was designed by Ticket Design.

At the core of this project was the challenge of making the software experience more engaging, intuitive, and natural for users. The team focused on designing an interface that is not only visually enriching but also delivers superior functionality.
